While a reasonably nondescript looking restaurant, the food is amazing!! We had lamb and paneer. Served with rice and naans. It was amazing. While both dishes were fantastic the paneer dish was our favourite by a long way. It tasted like a true gravy. R
We visited this restaurant and had a bad experience. We ordered chicken tikka, but they did not ask about spice level and made it very spicy. When we told the manager, She said it is always like this. We ordered dinner, but the staff did not want to change our plates. When we asked for new plates, they looked unhappy, like customers should eat everything in one plate only. Also, when we asked for spoons, the staff put the spoons directly on the table. Normally in restaurants, spoons are given on tissues. The service was not good and we did not feel comfortable I normally donโt write reviews, especially bad ones. This is my first time because the service was very disappointing
Every visit has been consistently excellent, and this has quickly become the go-to spot whenever friends or family are craving great tandoori and authentic Indian curries. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Indian food, generous portions and genuine hospitality โ easily a well-deserved 5-star experience.
I have been visiting this restaurant for quite a few years but this time had a negative experience. I came in for a takeaway order and when I reached home and we started eating and realised all the naan breads and aloo parathas were burnt from the back and were tasting bitter. I called the restaurant to update them. thankfully the sent us the breads again within half an hour so the meal was saved.
A decade of best Indian food has now been replaced with a new, expensive menu, of nearly 70 dishes!! Amazing for a small restaurant mostly take-away, priority over the 1-2 tables physically present. Are the samosas homemade? This restaurant used to be 5*, not sure why it has decided to expand the menu, the prices, and not appeal to sit-in customers--actually I can, the entire industry is doing it not just 7 village.
