Came to the grocery store and there was only one staff member at the checkout. She was working very hard, but the wait was long due to being understaffed. This is not fair on the staff member or the customers.

We visited Bendigo and were hoping to find authentic Indian masala tea and decided to call this Indian store. Although they didn’t sell it commercially, the owner went above and beyond — offering to make one using their staff machine, and even calling the team to have it ready when we arrived. When we got there, they generously offered as many cups as we liked, without accepting any payment, even though we were more than happy to pay. The young woman at the store was clearly busy, yet still managed to make a beautifully brewed tea that hit all the right notes. What really stood out was their exceptional customer service. They knew we weren’t locals and unlikely to return as regulars, yet treated us with genuine kindness and hospitality. It’s rare to come across business owners who care this deeply for their craft and the people they serve. Grateful for the experience — it’s the little gestures that leave lasting memories. By the way, while I was waiting for tea I had a quick look into the store, it's clean and well organised, there were a lot of options to choose from.

A good Indian shop in Bendigo. Almost all items available in the shop. When started in Bendigo, it started in a small shop and the new location is really big, well organised and has ample car parking. Really a good shop.
