I rarely write review but this place deserves all the attention in this world. Iโve lived in Adelaide for the past five years, and today was my first time visiting this place with my partner and honestly, it was the best service Iโve ever experienced anywhere. It gave me hope that there are still amazing restaurants out there that donโt charge you a kidney for a piece of chicken heart. The owner passionately walked us through how they prepare their chicken curry, and with every bite, you could truly taste the love and care poured into it. Iโm genuinely emotional writing this please, never change what you do or what you stand for. Rock on!!! ๐ค
Great value for the price. The owner is really friendly and gives a huge serving of curry. Highly recommend trying for a quick lunch
The food was absolutely delicious,I loved it! I ordered the biryani, it comes with curd and salan, and the portion was generous, definitely enough for one person. The person at the counter was also very polite.
Very delicious, got a butter chicken during my lunch break of my first ever city job. Served me with a smile and butter chicken was hot and ready, no wait time at all. Have outside seating available but can be busy Would recommend for a quick feed and cheap lunch.
My "go to" work lunch spot in the city with my favourite being the Dal and Rice. Served on a big bed on Basamti rice, the Dal is fresh and tasty. At sub $8 for a deep bowl, this is the best value lunch in the CBD! The owners are always friendly, who greet you with a smile. Update 01-JUL-2024: Tried the Chicken Curry with Palu rice. Another very tasty dish witha tomato base, a good alternative for a non-spicy curry. As usual, the rice serving was generous beneath the bed of chicken and curry sauce, and naan was soft and fluffy. I tried the samosa for the first time; some crunch on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside. Yummo! Update 11-JUN-2024: Tried the butter chicken for the first time, I found the sauce velvety creamy with a balanced sweetness, and tender chicken pieces. And the serving was so big, I ate the 2nd half for dinner! Excellent value for sub $12. Update 30-APR-2024: New menu item in the form of Chicken Briyani. Light, fluffy and very more-ish indeed. I'll be ordering this more in the future. Update 10-APR-2024: Dal with Palu rice ups the vegetables in the dish, which enhances the taste and makes it more filling. Update 20-MAR-2024: The naan is soft, fluffy and fresh, while Dal with vegetarian rice takes it to another level in terms of taste and filling you up.
