I brought the goat and chicken biriyani, and both were amazing. Stunning presentation, great aroma and flavour too. The restaurant is clean, good utensils and great atmosphere. I would 100% recommend to anyone craving Indian food.

On Friday night your staff refused a 76-year-old woman the use of your toilet because she was “not a paying customer.” She was broken down right outside your restaurant, waiting several hours for a tow truck. Distressed, humiliated, and urgently needing the restroom — and still you turned her away. Absolutely disgraceful treatment of a vulnerable member of our community. Money over compassion, hey? The only positive here? Now we know your toilets are available — but only to “paying customers.” I’ll be sure to let all my fellow truck drivers know about the toilets in this handy location. What they may/will/definitely lack in hygiene, they more than make up for in money — guess that’s a win all round, hey.

Edit: looking back at my reviews, I feel that I should change my rating for Coast. I was debating giving this a 1 star but I thought that maybe the dine-in experience would be better than this. The food - specifically the chicken & beef vindaloo - were so salty it was overpowering the taste. The naan (garlic especially) was super thin and lacked much flavour. The beef Rogan Josh had bits of fat, and had very minimal meat portions. Only two upsides came from this, and it was the chicken tikka masala and the rice serving. The chicken tikka masala was OK, since it was edible, plus we had to share it as the vindaloos were not appealing. Also, the rice portion was decent. In saying this, I hope these issues can be worked on in the future, especially the amount of salt put in the food.

With all due respect I would not recommend this restaurant, butter chicken was not authentic at all, was very watery. The garlic naan had some sort of strange paste for garlic, very very unusual, this is not how a garlic naan should look and I would highly suggest this restaurant looks into a different method for their naan bread.

This Indian restaurant in Broadbeach, right opposite the Broadbeach North tram stop, is an absolute gem! The food here takes you down memory lane with its authentic flavours and heartwarming dishes. Every bite reminded me of the rich and vibrant cuisine I grew up with. The ambience, service, and attention to detail are all top-notch. Love everything about this place!! Highly recommend.
