The onion bhaji and samosa were good, but they came with a strange dressing/sauce, and not the usual green chili and tamarind sauces. Their special dhal was not flavorful. The rice tasted great, with turmeric, raisins, and fried onions. This isn't a place for those wanting the spices and complex flavor profiles.

My family and I went to Flavour of India to celebrate our 30 years anniversary in Australia. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We were surprised to meet the chef who came to our table to congratulate us! He put a special hat on my wife, took few pics and gave us some special deserts! It was the best celebration!

Every bite is packed with rich, amazing flavors that show what real Indian cuisine is all about. From entrée to dessert, my partner and I kept looking at each other in awe after every bite. Truly an unforgettable experience! Definitely the kind of spot you’d be proud to bring your mates, work friends, or even your boss if they’re into Indian food.

If you want world-class Indian food, you need to dine here. Chef Hayat shows his experience and love for the food he cooks for his patrons. He is super charismatic and humble. The food is fresh, flavorful, and exquisite. While the restaurant is well known in Sydney, I would challenge others from around the world to compare their favorite Indian restaurant to Flavor of India.

The BEST Indian restaurant in Sydney! The food is absolutely tasty and the portions are generous. The service is amazing. The staff are very friendly, polite, and go above and beyond. The chef has been there for 36 years and he usually comes out to greet the guests, which makes everything more special! Thank you Chef! 🙏
