I took my family and friends from Sydney here couple of times and we really enjoyed the food, friendly and polite staff. The atmosphere is great for family and kids. My friends said itโs impossible to find such authentic Nepali taste in Sydney. Proud to have you guys in Gold Coast ๐
Indus delivers an outstanding dining experience with bold flavours, beautiful presentation, and generous portions. ๐ถ๏ธ Crispy Pakoras: Golden, crunchy, and packed with flavour. The fritters are light yet satisfying, with a beautifully spiced batter and tender vegetables inside. Absolutely addictive and clearly freshly fried. ๐ Biryani with Raita: A showstopper. Long-grain basmati rice infused with aromatic spices, layered generously and garnished with herbs and lemon for brightness. The cooling raita on the side complements the warmth of the biryani perfectly, bringing balance to the dish. โจ Overall Experience: From texture to taste, every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and authentically flavoured. Indus excels in both quality and consistency, making it a place youโll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended โ Indus truly earns its 5 stars. ๐๐๐๐๐
Wow. That was lit ๐ฅ food was insane. Good price. And really lovely man and woman running the place too. Fr though that was so tasty. Will be back on the reg. Nepalese beer is beautiful as well ๐ 5 stars all round
We noticed this restaurant on a recent visit to the Gold Coast. Decided to try it as we love Napalese food. This fell a little short of our expectations though. My order was the gobi Manchurian, hit the spice levels for me but a little too rich for my taste. Partner ordered the aloo gosht, he said the lamb wasn't tender, very chewy in texture. Maybe we just made a wrong order choice & stuck with the various offerings of momo! Service was very attentive & the restaurant has a bar & plenty of seating, we wish them well
We were a group of 16 who dined at Indus Indian and Nepalese Restaurant on a Tuesday night, and it was an experience worth sharing! The first thing that catches your eye when you walk in is the beautiful โNamasteโ sign above the counterโa warm and welcoming touch that instantly sets the tone. It truly made us feel like we were stepping into a space that values culture and hospitality. The dining area was exceptionally clean and well-organized, creating a comfortable atmosphere for a group dinner. Despite our large group size, our food was served promptly and right on time, which is always impressive for a busy restaurant. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the evening, making sure everyone was well looked after. The menu offers a wide variety of Indian and Nepalese dishes, which was perfect for our group with different tastes. From flavorful curries to traditional momos, there was something for everyone to enjoy. If youโre anywhere near the Gold Coast and are craving authentic Nepalese food, this is definitely a place worth visiting. Weโre already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommended โ just leaving one star off for a bit of room to grow, but overall a fantastic dining experience. Will be back for sure!
