Visited Little Chef Restaurant recently and had a very disappointing experience. The chicken tikka masala was not good at all — it tasted like plain tomato curry with no proper flavour or balance. The waitress recommended the dish, but unfortunately it did not meet expectations. We also ordered mushroom tikka, which had no taste, was very dry, and lacked any crunch or texture. What made the experience worse was the service. We arrived around 9:15 pm and felt the staff were not happy serving us, which made us uncomfortable. The menu talks about history and quality, but honestly, it was not worth visiting. Overall, there was no taste and no satisfaction from the food or service.

I stumbled upon this place by chance last Thursday when I was on my way back home. It was almost closing time, and I was in the mood for a quick bite. Little Chef was a hidden gem! The interior was beautifully designed, and the staff was super friendly. They helped me out with my order and made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious! It was so authentic that it transported me back to India. I’m definitely going to come back for a dine in sometime. They even packed me a little surprise in my takeaway, which was so nice and lovely of them . And guess what? It was also World Kindness Day the night I visited!

We’re visiting from Melbourne and are staying a walking distance away from this little gem. We started with a red wine for my partner and I tried a rose lassi. This lassi is my new favourite, where have you been all my life 🤭?!! The mixed vegetable entrees were delicious and served with a tamarind sauce and a mint yogurt sauce as you’d expect. We then shared the spinach goat curry with a serve of garlic naan - delicious!! We left happy and sufficiently full. Such lovely friendly service too. Thank you!

This place has some great reviews so I had to try it. Went in for dinner last night. Too many options to try. I settled for the Tandoori Platter. Smoke and sizzling platter was served with in 10 minutes with mint sauce. Mouthwatering lamb chops, spicy tandoori fish and prawns, perfectly marinated chicken and the kebab! The whole platter was delicious. Platter is good for 2 people. To finish off I ordered mango kulfi and it was the icing on the cake. Will come here again soon to try Goat Biryani and other specialities. Thank you for serving amazing food.

Amazing from start to finish. From spicy tandoori mushrooms, beautiful chargrilled tandoori lamb cutlets that had so much flavour and melted in the mouth to our amazing mains of lamb Rogan Josh and chicken vindaloo. The raita and the peppermint looking dip were a nice addition to compliment all the spice and flavours. Also the saffron rice was good and so was the garlic naans. Highly recommend this place as the flavours were just popping in our mouths. Back again and as expected the food was outstanding. They better get some more Jim beam for next time as it ran out and I have a feeling we will be back each time we visit Geelong.
