I absolutely love Thakar Indian Veg Kitchen! I’ve been there countless times and tried so many items on the menu — almost everything nails the authentic taste perfectly. The food is consistently delicious, with great quality and generous portions. The staff are friendly and warm, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is truly phenomenal. Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Adelaide. Highly, highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian vegetarian cuisine!

We tried the Paneer Tikka Pizza at Thakkar last night and were quite disappointed — it was flat, had very little topping, and was burnt around the edges. The same dish at Chatkazz is much better in taste and portion. On the positive side, the ambiance here is nice and the service is quick, but the food definitely needs improvement.

My first Indian cuisine experience is with this one and I have to say it worths every dollar. I probably cannot express how surprised and satisfied I am now but guys, TRY THIS RESTAURANT. The atmosphere is cozy, classy plus traditionally exotic. The food presentation is better than the photos on menu even... Not to mention the friendly staff would guide you through in case you find yourself confused by hundreds of choices.
