Absolutely fantastic experience. We started with the samosas โ perfectly crisp, well-spiced, and genuinely delicious. The garlic tandoori chicken was insanely moreish, so tender, smoky, and packed with flavour. The momo dumplings were nice and well cooked, though the fresh coriander leaf was a little overpowering (for me personally โ using leaf rather than seeds can overpower the flavour profile). The basmati rice was so light and delicious that it felt like it grew on trees instead of coming from the ground.. like delicate petals. The butter chicken was outstanding โ deep, rich flavour, beautifully balanced, still creamy without being heavy, and clearly made with care. The garlic naan was light, fluffy, buttery, and perfect for scooping up every last bit of sauce. And the standout finale: the pistachio kulfi โ genuinely the best pistachio kulfi Iโve ever had, and I say that as a self-confessed pistachio kulfi connoisseur. Smooth, rich, real pistachio flavour, not artificial, and perfectly balanced sweetness. The service was also exceptional and attentive without being intrusive, always smiling, thoughtful attention to detail, and genuinely warm and friendly throughout the entire experience. Quality food, beautiful execution, and a team that clearly cares. Will absolutely be back.
We received an incredibly warm welcome from the owner, Mr. Jhakendra, which set a great tone for the evening. The appetizers arrived quickly, followed by a prompt main course. Both the chicken biryani and chicken korma were delicious, and the mango lassi was the perfect refreshing pairing. The entire staff was patient and understanding throughout our meal. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Nepalese cuisine in Melbourne!
Nice ambiance and very well maintained restaurant. The staffs were very polite, friendly and efficient. We tried butter naan and chicken tikka masala. The naan was super tasty and fresh. The chicken was also very tasty but could have been better. The food quality is nice overall however they should increase the portion size :) Overall I would recommend this place.
The food was really nice - recommended. Everything we ordered was really nice. Only minor thing I paid attention to is that the tamarind chutney served with papads could be slightly thicker to my taste, but understand that it is offered this thin in many places. There were no wait and we were seated immediatelly. The serving staff, one was really attentive and friedly - thank you very much. The other one was slightly less attentive. Overall a good experience and highly recommended to give it a try.
Great Authentic Indian food. The flavours are amazing. Very tasty.. Service was great. Happy friendly staff. Will definitely come back. Just make sure you have a can of Coke for me. Haha. Highly recommend
