Would not recommend this place basically because the service sizes are SUPER TINY (XXS) for the prices charged and the taste wasn't any good. Ordered Chicken Shinwari ..Malai Handi and Mix Platters (pic missing). Also got carrot halwa. Shinwari was a disgrace. Malai Handi was nice. I mainly went for BBQ and Both mix bbq platters tasted heavily drenched in garlic and no such taste at all ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”, although lamb chops weren't that bad. The only thing which was good was the halwa.. and by good I don't mean anything special..just tasted traditional! A little effort in making the quality of food & the quanity better could have really done wonders for this place. A great opportunity missed.. total let down!! (PS.the size of the wooden spoon to show the size of the serving )

The food was very good, although it's true you need to be able to tolerate some very unusual and strongly flavored dishes. Everything was delicious, and the service was also good. The portions are perfect for sharing among several people for a more varied dinner. A highly recommended place. The only annoying thing was the children running and shouting. Parents in Canberra, please keep an eye on your children or order takeout. I shouldn't be unable to hear those of us at the table just because your children have decided to start shouting while you ignore them or laugh along. Thank you.

Finally got the chance to try this gem and it hit all spots ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ. I think the Pakistani food that Canberra has been missing can definitely be found here. We wanted to pick some traditional mains and the owner definitely vouched for them too so we had to try: Entrees: ๐Ÿ‘ŒBBQ platter which was a mix of tender, delicious and flavourful meats- seekh, tandoori chicken, lamb cutlets served on a bed of crunchy onions, on a sizzling platter ๐Ÿ‘Œ Pani puri or golgappas, my favourite street food. The way this was served with little shot glasses filled with spicy, sweet and sour tamarind water was the most creative I have seen so far. Mains: ๐Ÿ‘ŒLamb Nihari ๐Ÿ‘ŒChicken haleem ๐Ÿ‘ŒBasmati rice ๐Ÿ‘ŒGarlic Naan ๐Ÿ‘ŒRoghani Naan Drinks: ๐Ÿ‘ŒPink Mojito ๐Ÿ‘ŒMango Lassi We absolutely loved everything that we tried, in particular the mains with the Roghani naan as this is something I would travel to get my hands on in Sydney. So it is very exciting that I can now get these Pakistani favourites of mine here @zaiqah.au Canโ€™t wait to go back to try some more!!

Canberra or Sydney foodies, if youโ€™re craving authentic Pakistani flavors, Zaiqah in Dickson is an absolute must-visit! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ We started with the Legendary Gol Gappy โ€“ crispy, hollow spheres packed with chana chaat and served with sweet-tangy flavoured water. Each bite was a perfect explosion of texture and taste. The Seekh Kebab (Chicken) was aromatic and perfectly grilled, while the Cheesy Malai Boti stole the show with its creamy, mildly spiced cheese coating and juicy chicken. For mains, the Charsi Goat Karahi was rich and deeply flavorful, with tender goat slow-cooked in traditional Karahi spices. The Pulao Biryani delivered delicate flavors of chicken, yogurt, and spices, while the Gonesh Fish impressed with its creamy coconut-based marinade and aromatic herbs. Of course, the Chicken Biryani was layered with traditional spices and fresh herbs, making each bite memorable. To complement this feast, the Pink Mojito and Pineapple Breeze were refreshing, perfectly balancing the spice and richness of the dishes. From street-food-style starters to hearty mains, Zaiqah captures the essence of Pakistani cuisine in every dish. Friendly staff, authentic flavors, and a vibrant atmosphere make this place a must-try for anyone in Canberra!
